Here at Livingston's Chinese Health & Fitness Center, there is a variety of different Chinese Martial Arts Systems being taught, along with
Chinese Health, Chinese History, Chinese Philosophy
and
Yoga
classes. The Chinese Martial Arts are Traditional Wu Shu
( Kung - Fu )
systems, taught in the old Chinese traditional way, done in small class sizes, with more attention to each student. The Kung Fu styles that are being presented here are:
Northern Seven Star Praying Mantis, Southern Hung Gar, Wing Chun, Tai Tzu Chang Chuan, Tai Tzu Chuan, Yang, Chen, Zhao (Tai Tzu) Tai Chi Chuan, Five Element Hsing I, Heaven & Earth Eight Trigram Pa Qua, and Southern Praying Mantis
.
Chin-na ( the art of grappling) and Shaui - Chiao (the art of grappling & throwing) are incorporated into most of the traditional systems, along with their special weapons. We will teach the applications to the movements of each form, so the student will understand way they are practicing these techniques.
